Kelly Leight Patton, 46, a lifelong area resident, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015 at the MidHudson Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Carmel on October 17, 1968, she was the daughter of the late David Leight, Sr. and Myrtle Davis Donohue. Kelly was proud to have raised her sons and enjoyed spending time with them. She also enjoyed doing crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Patton; her sons, Jeremy and Zachary Patton of Poughkeepsie; her sisters, Cynthia Donohue of Poughkeepsie, Laura McLean and her husband Mark of Gardiner, and Julie Armstrong of Red Hook; her brothers, Richard Donohue of FL, Gary Donohue and his wife Susan of Whaley Lake, and Bryan Donohue and his wife Wendy of Pleasant Valley; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her siblings, Bette Lou Tayntor, Holli Vaccaro, Linda Lyder, and Jeff Donohue.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be Thursday at 11 am at the funeral home followed by interment in Beekman Cemetery.
