Kelly Ann Ransom, a resident of LaGrange, and Dutchess County since a young girl, passed away on October 10, 2023. She was 53.

She was born on March 19, 1970, in Mount Vernon, to the late Charles and Theresa (Gelardi) Ransom.

Kelly attended Pawling High School, graduating in 1987, the University of Arizona, and earned a master's degree at Tri-State College of Acupuncture. She proudly built her own business, Ransom Acupuncture in Fishkill since 2010.

A lover of the great outdoors, Kelly enjoyed spending her leisure time camping, hiking, and kayaking. She was also fond of motorcycle rides and exploring on a 4-wheeler.

Kelly will be sorely missed by her loving family, friends, and community. She leaves behind her partner, Bobby Oakley; her sister, Karen Casucci; her nieces and nephews, Evan Bennett, Andrew Ransom, Autumn Wasvary, Shane Gilson; her aunts, Betty Valenti, Amalia Cerbone, and Peggy Bersito.

Calling hours will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street Fishkill, New York, on Sunday, October 15 from 2pm to 5pm with a service at 5pm.
