Kenneth J. Seiferheld, Sr., 66, a resident of Pleasant Valley for 20 years and formerly of Cortlandt Manor, died on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital.

Born in Staten Island on July 14, 1948, he was the son of Charles and Helena Iraggi Seiferheld. Ken served in the US Army and was employed by BASF in Verplanck until his retirement in 2012. He was a member of the Elks in Verplanck, and enjoyed bowling, singing karaoke, playing darts, and watching Science Fiction shows such as Star Trek and Quantum Leap.

Ken is survived by his son, Kenneth J. Seiferheld, Jr. and his girlfriend, Andrea Shook; his sister, Eileen Scuderi ; his brother, Mickey Seiferheld; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. IN addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wives, Marlene Federighi Seiferheld and Patricia Tompkins Seiferheld; and his brother, Clifford Seiferheld.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 1-4pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a funeral service at 4pm. There will be a graveside service on Monday at 11am at St. Peter's Cemetery with military honors. Memorial donations may be made to the family to assist them during this time.
