Kent Sherman's Obituary
Kent Sherman, 61, a lifelong area resident, died on February 21, 2018 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Munich, Germany on February 10, 1957, he was the son of the late Ralph and Estelle (Schawelson) Sherman. Kent had served our country in the US Army and he worked with his family in the breeding, harness racing and boarding of horses for many years.
On August 26, 1988 in Poughquag, Kent married Shari (Vance) who survives at home. He is also survived by his children, Alexander Sherman, Ashley Sherman, Sarah Daniels and Amanda Vosburg; his granddaughter, Skylar VanTassell; his brothers, Steve Sherman and Ralph Sherman; his sister, Tovah Hagan; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Saturday from 2-5pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation.
