Kerry H. Borchardt passed away on July 16, 2024 at the age of 82. He was born on May 5, 1942 in Jackson, Michigan to the late Heinz and Mary (Gibson) Borchardt. On December 18, 1965, he married Susan (Papst) Borchardt in Southfield, Michigan. Susan predeceased him in 2020.

Kerry was an active member of the Fishkill United Methodist Church. In his spare time, he loved filmmaking, hiking, and he even maintained a section of the Appalachian Trail.

He is survived by his two sons: Scot Borchardt of Campbell Hall, NY and Kevin Borchardt and his wife Jaclyn of Waldwick, NJ; and his granddaughter Madison Borchardt.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday July 23, 2024 from 2-6pm, with a service taking place at 5:30pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc. 1089 Main St. Fishkill, NY.
