Kevin Robert Brutting, 59, of Fishkill and formerly of Mahopac, died on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Queens on October 17, 1953, he was the son of Robert Brutting of Raleigh, NC and the late Margaret Brutting. Kevin was employed as a building inspector for the City of Peekskill. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and sports, especially the New York Mets and Jets. He has been a coach for both East Fishkill Little League and East Fishkill Softball.

On October 8, 1978 in Kent, Kevin married Donna Eschbach who survives at home. He is also survived by his son, Kurt of Milford, CT; his daughter, Robin of Fishkill; his brother, Brian of Kent; his sisters, Patty Beringer of East Fishkill and Linda White of Durham, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 10am at the funeral home with Rev. Ralph Verdu officiating. Interment will follow in Halstead Union Cemetery.
