Kevin Thomas Primose, a one-year resident of Fishkill, formerly of Cornwall and Pearl River, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, May 7, 2026. He was 66.

Son of the late Eugene and Eileen (Sheehan) Primrose, he was born in Lawrence, MA on February 19, 1960. Kevin worked as a cabinet maker for LMA Group, Inc. in New York City for 40 years, retiring in 2025. He loved spending time with his family and especially cherished his two granddaughters.

He is survived by his daughter, Lauren Welch & her husband Victor of Scott Township, PA; his granddaughters, Charlotte and Grace Welch; his brother, Gene Primrose & his wife Deirdre of Wappingers Falls; his nieces and nephews: Thomas Primrose (Victoria), Matthew Primrose, Megan Primrose, Andrew Primrose, Robert Primrose, and Christopher Primrose; and also by Anne Primrose.

In addition to his parents, Kevin was also predeceased by his brother, Harry Primrose.

Calling hours will be held from 5:00pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday, May 13 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A service will take place at the funeral home at 12:00pm on Thursday, May 14, followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
