Obituary

FISHKILL – Kevork A. Adourian, 88, a resident of Fishkill for the past 5 years, died peacefully on December 21, 2020 at The Pines at Poughkeepsie. He previously lived in Hopewell Junction.

Born in Armenia on December 20, 1932, Kevork was the son of the late Sarkis and Yernik (Karamanoukian) Adourian. After 50 years of service, he retired from IBM in East Fishkill where he was employed as an electrical engineer. He enjoyed traveling, tinkering with computers, and working in his garden. Most of all, he loved spending time with his grandsons.

In 1956 in Indiana, Kevork married Anisia (Garcia) Adourian. His wife of 64 years survives at home. He is also survived by his son, Alex Adourian and his wife Laurie of New Paltz; his grandsons, Anthony and Alexander Adourian; his sister, Aghavni Panjarjian; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, George and Marta Garcia; and two nieces and several nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Yeghia and Adour Adourian, his sister Maro Adourian, and his nephew Sarkis Adourian.
