Kimberly Ann Gallagher was born on February 12, 1975 in Mount Kisco. Unfortunately at the age of 35, she was challenged with a disease of throat cancer. As with any other obstacle she had to face, she fought strong to the end. Friday, January 28, 2011 was when all of her pain and suffering was over forever - "No more sickness" as she once said. Kimmie was able to let go and be in a better place of peace, love and happiness with her first daughter, Jordyn Joan, who predeceased her on August 23, 2008. Kimmie leaves behind her loving parents, Larry and Nancy Gallagher; her loving daughter, McKenna Shea Gallagher; her brother, James David Gallagher Sr. and his wife Daniela; her nieces and nephews, Pino, Lucianna, Caterina and Jimmy Jr.; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Kimmie was a Certified Nursing Assistant and she enjoyed knitting and crocheting and she loved motorcycle riding, family gatherings and cooking.

Calling hours will be held on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
