Kimberly E. Vilt, 46, an area resident for over 25 years, died peacefully on March 17, 2022 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence in Newburgh. She grew up in Putnam Valley, NY and previously resided in Beacon, NY.

Kimberly was born in Queens on November 13, 1975. She was a 1993 graduate of Walter Panas High School and received her Associates Degree from Westchester Community College. Kimberly had previously worked in Sales and Finance for Audi of Greenwich, CT and Geis Nissan in Cortlandt Manor, NY. She was a parishioner at St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction. Kimberly will be remembered as always being artistic and creative. She adored and loved her nephews more than anything in the world!

She is survived by her father, Stephen Vilt of Carmel; her mother, Karin (Mayer) Vilt of Beacon; her sister, Sabine Cox and her husband John; her nephews, John Jr. and Austin; her uncles and aunts, Erich and Jenny Mayer of Australia, Elisabeth Vilt of Hungary, and Hans Amos of Germany; and her cousins, Elizabeth, Karin, and Renee Mayer of Australia.

Funeral services will be private at St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction.
