CARMEL - Kirby Arthur Martin, 81, died on April 25, 2025 at Putnam Ridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He previously lived in Fishkill.

Born on July 15, 1943, Kirby was the son of the late Arthur and Lorraine (Kirby) Martin. Kirby retired from the New York City Department of Carpenters after 40 years of service. During his retirement, he enjoyed fishing, golfing, gardening, and feeding deer.

Kirby is survived by his daughters, Theresa Martin and Jessica Martin; siblings, Garrett and Diana Martin, Mary Doherty, Monica Doris and Kevin O'Connor, and Eileen and Rich Mihalco; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, May 1st 4 - 7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial is being offered on Friday, May 2nd at 12 pm at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Interment will take place on Monday, May 5th at 10 am at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
