Kristin Rose Campanella Lufker, 30, a lifelong area resident, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 18, 2012.
Born in Beacon on May 16, 1982, she was the beloved daughter of Christopher and Elizabeth Pelish Campanella of Hopewell Junction. Kristy Rose was a graduate of Carmel High School and Westchester Community College. In 2011, she received her Masters Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Psychology from Mercy College. She was employed as a receptionist at Mount Kisco Medical Group in Mount Kisco. She enjoyed hiking, gymnastics and singing and recorded two CDs.
In addition to her parents, Kristy Rose is survived by her brother, Joseph Campanella, at home; her sister, Marissa Campanella, at home; her nephew, Christopher Joseph Campanella; her grandparents, Stafford and Rosemary Pelish of LaGrange, Rose Campanella of Briarcliff Manor; her godmother, Kathy Campanella of Carmel; her aunts, Chrissy Craig of Pleasant Valley and Julie Brjbassi of Toronto; her uncles, Matt Pelish of Albany and Stafford Pelish of Omaha, NE; many cousins and friends; and her loving cats, Chloe and Jasmin.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10am at the funeral home.
