PEEKSKILL - L. Jane Schlick, 89, died on May 31, 2018 at Sky View Rehabilitation in Croton-On-Hudson.

Born on November 26, 1928 in Baltimore, MD, Jane was the daughter of the late Thomas and Susan (Hobbs) Stowe. She was employed as a Nursing Executive for At Home Care, Inc. in Oneonta until her retirement in 1996. She was a member of the American Nurses Association.

A member of the East Fishkill Seniors, Jane also liked to travel and do needlework. She was a member of the Hopewell Reformed Church.

Jane is survived by her children, Calvert Earl Schlick, III and his wife Cathy Lynn of Oceanport, NJ, Susan Jane Howard and her husband John David Howard of Mamaroneck, and Thomas Stowe Schlick of Harrison; her grandchildren, Corinne Johanna Kern and her husband John, Kathryn Jane Howard, and Sean Thomas Howard; her great-granddaughter, Amelia Dorothy Kern; and her former husband, Calvert Earl Schlick, Jr. of Peekskill. She was also predeceased by her sister, Virginia "Lea" Vachon.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 12 – 2 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by a service at 2pm. Burial will take place at the convenience of the family at Parkwood Cemetery in Parkville, MD.
