Laura E. Maisonave, 80, a resident of LaGrangeville since 2020 and formerly of Brooklyn, died on October 28, 2024 at her home.

Born in Juncos, Puerto Rico on March 12, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Evangelista Anguita and Juana Romero. Laura had been employed in healthcare for more than 20 years in Lakewood, NJ, and was the caregiver of all her family.

Laura was a parishioner at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church in LaGrangeville. She enjoyed reading and being home with her dog Bandit, but more than anything, she loved spending time with her family.

Laura is survived by her only daughter , Denise Maisonave and her husband, Jorge Vazquez. She was blessed by her grandchildren Cristopher and Kayla Rodriguez. She was also an aunt to Alice Tribue and her kids Eva and Noah, and Jose Montalvo and his kids Anaya, Michael, Jacob and Victor. She was predeceased by her husband, Israel Maisonave, and her siblings, Rosa Montalvo, Juan Anguita and several other siblings.

At Laura's request, the services will be private.
