Laura Veronica Ragaglia, a 15-year Beacon resident, formerly of Hopewell Junction and the Bronx, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 79.

Daughter of the late John L. and Veronica (Perreira) Koller, she was born in the Bronx on February 22, 1947. Throughout her career, Laura worked for various employers including Kodak, Sam's Club, and McDonalds. In 2011, she retired from JC Penney, where for many years she specialized in window treatment sales.

Laura will be remembered as the "Life of the Party". She loved cooking and entertaining, especially during the holiday season. Laura also enjoyed various crafting hobbies such as art and making jewelry. She had fond memories of spending time camping at her summer residence in Milford, PA. More than anything else, however, she truly cherished being a grandmother.

On April 6, 1980, she married Anthony V. Ragaglia in Pawling. Anthony survives at their home in Beacon.

Additional survivors include her daughter, Annette Strehle of Pawling; her son, Anthony Ragaglia, Sr. & his wife Danielle of LaGrange; her grandchildren: Joseph Strehle, Anthony Ragaglia, Jr., Landon Ragaglia, and Gavin Ragaglia; her sister, Edna Panigrosso; as well as many other loving family members.

In addition to her parents, Laura was also predeceased by her brother, John Koller.
