WAPPINGERS FALLS – Laurence Andrews Gordon, 86, died on October 19, 2021 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was a resident of Wappingers Falls since 1994.

Born in Rochester, NY on March 19, 1935, Laurence was the son of the late Edwin and Velma (Barnaby) Gordon. He proudly served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a librarian by Wappingers Central School District for over 35 years until his retirement in 2001. He enjoyed theatre, art, and writing.

Laurence is survived by his niece, Melissa Gordon of St. Clair Shores, MI; his nephew, Kevin Gordon of Bowling Green, OH; and many friends, especially Greta Woo of Poughkeepsie.

In addition to his parents, Laurence was also predeceased by his brother and sister-in-law, James R. and Joan Gordon.
