Laurie Anne Lucian

POUGHQUAG - Laurie Anne Lucian, 74, passed away peacefully on August 12, 2026. A resident of Poughquag since 2010, Laurie previously lived in Port Chester for 40 years.

Born in Greenwich, CT on November 9, 1951, Laurie was the daughter of the late Elmer and Theresa (Sonnesen) Petrovich. Laurie retired from Gannet Newspaper in White Plains in 2006 after 20 years of service.

She was a longtime parishioner at Our Lady of Mercy Church in Port Chester (Now St. John Bosco Church. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who prioritized her family's needs above all else.

On February 22, 1969 at Sacred Heart Church in Port Chester, Laurie married Anthony Lucian who survives at home after 57 years of marriage. She is also survived by her children, Michael Lucian of Poughquag, Deanna Lucian Donahue and her husband Paul of South Salem; and her granddaughter, Ashley Donahue of South Salem.

Funeral services will be private at this time. Laurie will be buried at St. Denis Cemetery in Hopewell Junction.
