Born in the Bronx on October 3, 1957, he was the son of Nanny Tjader Snellman of Fairfield, CT and the late Bror Lars. As a teenager, he was raised in Hillside Lake and attended John Jay High School. Memories, courage and strength live on through friends from Florida to the Hudson Valley. Larry was predeceased by his father and his uncle, Emil Hager.
