Liberato “Lee” Montalbo, a 12-year resident of The Villages, FL, formerly of Wappingers Falls and long-time Westchester County resident, died on Monday, January 12, 2015. He was 83.
Son of the late Riccardo and Ersilia (Lombardi) Montalbo, he was born in Casalciprano, Italy on November 9, 1931. He worked for many years as a Sales Manager at Cremosa Food Company.
Survivors include his wife, Anita (Panariello) Montalbo, at home in Florida; his daughter, Celia Ecker & her husband Rodger of Patterson; and his grandson, Rodger Lee Ecker of Patterson.
Along with his parents, Lee was also predeceased by a sister, Angelina Gentile.
Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, January 15 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill.
The committal service and entombment will be private. He will be laid to rest in the Community Mausoleum at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
