Obituary

Lillian N. Hamza passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter on January 7, 2012 following a long battle with breast cancer. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Louis and Mary (Balazs) Nagy. She was 85 years old.
Mrs. Hamza lived in New Brunswick, NJ and Parsippany, NJ before moving to Pleasant Valley, NY in 2010.
Mrs. Hamza was formerly a Food Service Manager for the Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City. She was also the Bookkeeper and Office Manager for I.H. Printing in New Brunswick, NJ until her retirement.
Survivors include her daughters, Christine (and Dan) Richards of Pleasant Valley, NY, Deborah Bell of Rainbow Lakes, Denville, NJ, Lydia Hamza (and Nicholas Pisacane) of NYC, and her son, Istvan (and Emoke) Hamza of Somerset, NJ. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chase Emmons, Glenn Fandel, Melissa McMorris, Maggie Goldbarg, Lydia Marcus, Andras Hamza and Doug Bell; her great-grandchildren, Shannon, Colin, Graydon and Sebastian, as well as her beloved cat, Betsy.
Mrs. Hamza was preceded in death by her husband, the Reverend Andrew Hamza and her brothers, Louis Nagy and William C. Nagy, and a sister, Ethel Nagy.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private interment will follow in Denville, NJ at a later date.
