POUGHAQUAG - Linda J. Beyer, 64, passed away on January 12th, 2025, at home, just one day shy of her 65th birthday. Born on January 13, 1960, in Poughkeepsie, NY, Linda was a cherished daughter of the late Ralph and Mildred (Robinso) Proitt.

She married her beloved husband, William Beyer, on August 30, 1980, in a heartfelt ceremony at St. Denis Church, beginning a beautiful journey together that spanned over four decades. Together, they shared countless memories, laughter, and unconditional love.

Linda devoted her life to her family as a dedicated homemaker, creating a warm and loving environment for all who entered her home. Outside of her home, Linda enjoyed fishing, and numerous fishing trips, especially trout fishing.

Though she held no formal profession outside of her home, Linda's greatest accomplishment was her family. In addition to her husband, William, she is also survived by her loving children: Daniel James Beyer and Shannon Nicole Townshend (Michael); her grandchildren William "Billy", Neil and Mallory; her siblings Sandra, Kathy, Wendy, Marla, and Ralph Jr; many nieces and nephews.
