POUGHKEEPSIE – Linda A. DeGrandis (Desormier), 71, a lifelong area resident, died on July 14, 2016 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born on December 17, 1944 in Poughkeepsie, Linda was the daughter of the late Charles R. and Alice (Germond) Milligan. She and her husband, Donald Desormier, owned and operated DJ's Recreational Vehicles in Fishkill Plains for many years. She then worked for Dutchess Dodge until she retired 16 years ago.

In addition to her parents, Linda was predeceased by her first husband, Donald Desormier in 1993 and her second husband, Philip E. DeGrandis, Jr. in 2008. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Klein and her husband Eric of Wappingers Falls; her grandsons, Joshua and Zachary Klein; her sisters, Alice Dunagan and her husband James of Homosassa, FL and Mary Krahn of Watertown; and her nieces and nephews, Jim and Sean Dunagan , Kathy Paddock, and Kristie Schlewitt.

Linda enjoyed doing arts and crafts, especially scrapbooking. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family especially when they played Pinochle together.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 10 am-12 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held at 12 pm at the funeral home followed by burial at St. Peter's Cemetery in Poughkeepsie.
