Linda Ann Pavone, a resident of Wappingers Falls since 1991, and previously of Hopewell Junction, died peacefully at home on March 30, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. She was 80.

Linda was born on January 13, 1944, to the late Herman and Dorothy (Traub) Schneider in Poughkeepsie, New York. She attended Wappingers High School where she was a majorette in the band, prior to her graduation in 1961. Linda went on to work for IBM in East Fishkill in manufacturing.

On October 12, 1991, Linda married the love of her life, Peter Pavone in Hopewell Junction. He survives at home. Additional survivors include her son, Michael Glover of Hyde Park; her daughter, Kelly Glover of Hyde Park; her daughter, Melissa (Glover) Corraro of Wappingers Falls; her grandchildren, Cavu and Bijou Corrao of Wappingers Falls, Kyle Cassidy of Lafayette, PA, Melissa Cassidy of Silvercreek, NY; and her great grandchild, Cason Gross of Silvercreek, NY. Linda was predeceased by her parents, Herman Schneider (December 8, 1994) and Dorothy Schneider (April 24, 2003).

Linda found joy in assisting underprivileged children and families. She had the opportunity to embark on numerous hot air balloon rides, pursued her passion as a stained-glass artist, and found joy in gardening. Her top priority in life was nurturing and cherishing her relationships with her family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 12 – 4 pm at Anthony's Catering, 799 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY.
