She was born in Poughkeepsie on January 25, 1961. Linda was a Registered Nurse who started her career at Ellis Hospital in Schnectady, NY. then Vassar Brothers Medical Center for several years. She then went to private practice before her employment at Downstate Correctional Facility in Fishkill for 30 years until her retirement.

Linda was an avid reader. She enjoyed baking, and would often share her baked goods with co-workers and friends. She also enjoyed crafting and traveling. Linda was very generous to her family and friends. She was especially fond of her cats. Linda had been an aquarobics instructor at the YMCA in Poughkeepsie and Allsport for several years.

She is survived by her father, Jerald R. Rohling of Wappingers Falls; her siblings and their spouses, Paul and Cathy Rohling of Hopewell Junction, Darlene and Jon Anderson of Hopewell Junction, and Carl and Annie Rohling of Glen Ridge, NJ; her nieces and nephews, Peter, Sophie, Thomas, Ashley, Jake, Henry, Hema and Heston; her cat, Ivory; and many cousins. Linda was predeceased by her mother, Catherine (McPherson) Rohling in 2021.
