Obituary

Linda Mae Rosati-Quarto, 56, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 1964 and formerly of the Bronx, died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born on September 14, 1953 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Helen Martinka Rosati of Hopewell Junction and the late James Rosati. Linda was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction and for many years she enjoyed performing in plays in the area. She was currently self-employed, designing cake toppers, and she was well known at local flea markets and farmer's markets. She had previously been employed in retail sales at Kmart, Softco, Lowe's and Burlington Coat Factory.
In addition to her mother, Linda is survived by her husband, Gary Quarto, at home; her sisters, Diane and Vivian Rosati of Hopewell Junction; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Christine Rosati.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
