Obituary

Lodi Penna, 94, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 1985 and formerly of the Bronx, died on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in the Bronx on August 1, 1916, he was the son of Ferdinand and Antonia Esposito Penna. He served in the US Army during World War II and was employed as a butcher for Julius Finaldi in the Bronx for 25 years.
On October 15, 1949 in the Bronx, Lodi married Angela Finaldi who predeceased him in 2000. He is survived by his daughter, Catherine Lanzetta and her husband Andre of Hopewell Junction; his grandchildren, Andrea Drag and her husband Tom, Jared Lanzetta and his fiance Lindsay Fields and Matthew Lanzetta; his great-grandchildren, Catherine and Thomas Drag; and his sister, Virginia Penna.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
