Lois J. Elshafey, 60, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 2001 and formerly of Hawthorne and White Plains, died on Monday, July 29, 2013 at her home.
Born in White Plains on January 2, 1953, she was the daughter of Mary Delmore Nannariello of White Plains and the late Louis Nannariello. On April 17, 1980 in Eastchester, Lois married Mahmoud Elshafey who survives at home. She is also survived by her children, Joseph Carpenter and his wife Jenna of Beacon, Kenneth Carpenter of Stormville, Esra Elshafey of Hopewell Junction and Emily Elshafey of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, Jessie, Amber and Ty Carpenter; her siblings, Richard, Joyce and Carol Nannariello; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 12pm at Hopewell Cemetery.
