Lorenzo J. Gallardo-Bligen, 19, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 2012 and formerly of the Bronx, died on Wednesday, July 1, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Born in the Bronx on November 9, 1995, Lorenzo was a 2014 graduate of John Jay High School. He enjoyed playing basketball and video games.
Lorenzo is survived by his parents, Milagros and Raymond Gonzalez of Hopewell Junction; his girlfriend, Alexandrea Toussaint; his siblings, Ariana, Jade and Ethan Gonzalez of Hopewell Junction; his grandmother, Maria Gallardo of Hopewell Junction; his grandparents, Evangelista and Roberto Gonzalez from Perth Amboy, NJ; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Lorenzo was looking forward to the birth of his son, Lorenzo Alexander, who is due on July 29.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-6 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction with a funeral service at 5pm.
