FISHKILL – Lorraine Elizabeth Fanzo, 77, a resident of Fishkill and formerly of the Bronx, died on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie.
Born in the Bronx on April 7, 1934, she was daughter of the late John and Marion Bortfeld Wynne. On May 5, 1951, she married John J. Fanzo, her loving husband for 60 years. Mr. Fanzo survives at home.
Lorraine is also survived by three sons, Joseph Fanzo & his wife Deborah of California, Michael Fanzo & his wife Irene of Poughkeepsie, and John Fanzo & his wife MaryJane of the Bronx; two daughters, MaryEllen Corriera & her husband Danny of Fishkill and Kathy Smith & her husband Tom of the Bronx; her grandchildren, Robert, Julie, Jennifer, Timothy, Priscilla, Nicole, Tara, Tracy, Kimberly, Stephanie, MaryKate, Amanda, Sal, Joey, Priscilla, Tommy, Kelsey, Taylor, and James; 12 great-grandchildren; her siblings, Rita Fay of Rochester, John Wynne, Jr. & his wife Rose of New Jersey, and RoseMarie Buono of Dover Plains; also many nieces, nephews, and other loving family members & friends.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Monday, October 10 at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
