Lorraine J. O'Grady, 97, an area resident for 25 years and formerly of the Bronx, died peacefully on November 3, 2025 at the Taconic at Hopewell.

Born in the Bronx on June 10, 1928, she was one of five children of the late George and Joanna (George) Zachman. Lorraine had been employed as a placement counselor manager for Karrey Consultants, Inc.

Lorraine was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church. She enjoyed music and dancing, but more than anything, she cherished time with her family.

Lorraine is survived by her children and their spouses, Thomas and Donna O'Grady, and Maureen and John Koch; her daughter-in-law, Marie O'Grady; her grandsons, Thomas and his fiancé Rachel, Matthew and his wife Maya, Adam and his wife Valerie, Stephen and Christopher; and her great-grandsons, Nathan, Onyx and Daniel. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas P. O'Grady; and her son, Brian O'Grady.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4- 8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 9: 30am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by entombment at Mount Hope Cemetery in Hastings-on-Hudson.
