WAPPINGERS FALLS – Lorraine Rosenthal, 61, a resident of Wappingers Falls for 38 years and previously of White Plains, passed away at home on Thursday, May 17, 2012.

Born in the Bronx on January 24, 1951, she was the daughter of Richard Durnack and Margaret (Day) Whiteford. On September 27, 1969 at St. John's Church in the Bronx, she married Thomas Rosenthal who survives at home. Lorraine was a parishioner at St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Hedderick and her husband Douglas of Hopewell Junction and Carolann Quick of Marlboro; her 3 granddaughters, Amanda Drouin, Ashley Quick, and Emily Hedderick; and her sister, Debra Csikos of Lake Hiawatha, NJ.

Calling Hours will be held on Tuesday from 7-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Family and friends will gather at the funeral home on Wednesday beginning at 9 am to follow in procession to St. Columba Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am followed by interment in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
