Lorraine A. Tiger, a Fishkill resident since 1984, formerly of the Bronx, died at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie on Thursday, July 4, 2013. She was 72.
Daughter of the late Henry and Helen (Clarke) Williams, she was born in the Bronx on October 24, 1940.
Lorraine worked at the front desk for Somers Orthopedic in Carmel and was Past President of the Round Hill Association.
Above all else, she cherished spending time with her family. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, her dog and gardening.
She is survived by her husband, Gene Tiger, at home; her son, Gary Tiger of Danbury, CT; her daughter, Michele Sandman & her husband Brett of Fishkill; her son, Jeffrey Tiger; her grandsons, Jordan and Travis Tiger; and her daughter-in-law, Aimee Tiger of Ridgefield, CT.
Calling hours will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 8, 2013 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at the funeral home, followed by interment at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
