Lorraine J. Tyrrell, a resident of Fishkill since 1969 and formerly of Yonkers, died on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. She was 81.
Daughter of the late John and Anna Tabacher Fenyo, she was born in Yonkers on June 21, 1931. Lorraine worked for many years as a Bus Monitor for the Beacon City School District until retiring in 2008. She was a parishioner of St. Mary, Mother of the Church in Fishkill.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Raymond G. Tyrrell, at home; her daughter, Margaret Ann Williams & her husband Alfred of Enfield, CT; her son, Raymond John Tyrrell & his wife Holly of Wappingers Falls; her daughter, Dorothy Villegas & her husband Carl of Beacon; her grandchildren, Vanessa Lyn & Aaron Jon Williams of CT, Allison & Brian Tyrrell of Wappingers Falls, and Valerie & Eric Villegas of Beacon; her great-grandson, Kaden; her sister, Albertina Haver of FL; and numerous nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives & friends.
She was predeceased in death by two brothers, John and Robert Fenyo.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, March 19 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20 at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill.
