Louis M. Paesano, 84, an area resident for 30 years and formerly of Mahopac, died unexpectedly on December 13, 2016 at St. Luke's Hospital.

Born in the Bronx on February 15, 1932, he was the son of Antonio and Philomina Bartoletti Paesano. Louis, along with his son Anthony, was the owner and operator of Paesano Bakery in Fishkill for 36 years. He was a parishioner of St. Denis Church in Hopewell Junction.

Louis loved working in the bakery, and continued to work until the time of his death. He enjoyed gambling and eating with his friends, but more than anything he loved spending the holidays with his family.

On June 9, 1956 in the Bronx, Louis married Angela Bernabei who predeceased him on March 6, 2011. He is survived by his sons and their wives, Anthony and Deborah Paesano of Verbank, Fred Paesano of LaGrange, and Michael and Doreen Paesano of Rhinebeck; his son-in-law, John Lombardi of Hopewell Junction; his sister, Roseann Napolitano of the Bronx; 12 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren who will be born in the near future. He was also predeceased by his daughter, Louise Lombardi on May 19, 2012.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 11am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., Hopewell Junction.
