NEW HAMBURG – Louisa B. Hochberg, 54, an area resident for 29 years, died on July 13, 2016 at home surrounded by her husband and children.
Louisa was born in Castro Fillipo, Sicily on October 18, 1961. She grew up in Astoria, Queens. She had been employed as an Ongoing Service Coordinator for Early Intervention.
In 1985 in Queens, Louisa married Timothy Hochberg who survives at home. She is also survived by her children, Miranda Griffiths and her husband Jonathan of Beverly, MA, Alexander Hochberg and Camille Hochberg of New Hamburg; her parents, Antonino and Santa (Brucculeri) Bartolotta; her brother, Michael Bartolotta, his wife Lynn, and their children Louise and Anthony of Spackenkill; her sister-in-law, Patricia Mihelcic, her daughter Kyra, and granddaughter, Cessie; and her sister-in-law, Michele Hochberg and her children, Raymond, Harrison, and Claire Zukas.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 10 am at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
