FISHKILL - Louise M. Carielli, 94, passed away at the Taconic Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Fishkill, NY on Monday, November 25, 2024.

Daughter of the late John and Margaret Locasale, she was born in the Bronx on February 16, 1930. She graduated from Columbus High School.

On May 5, 1951, she married Paul Carielli at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in the Bronx. Paul predeceased her two years prior.

Louise spent her younger years caring for her husband Paul and their 3 children, Paula, Tom, and Luann. She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Luann Ribeiro on March 6, 2024.

She worked for many years for Sears selling product warranties. Louise enjoyed many hobbies such as gardening, cooking, card games and casino outings. She was an avid bowler who loved to travel, especially taking trips to the beach where she could spend countless hours on the sunny beaches of Aruba and the Jersey shore. She especially loved volunteering at St Mary's Church as she was a Eucharistic Minister and was the treasurer for the Marion Guild.

Survivors include her daughter, Paula Curran; her son, Tom Carielli & his partner Adriana Guzman; her son-in-law Roy Ribeiro; her grandchildren, Kim Colacicco, Danielle Perrotto & her husband Steven Tang, Paul Carielli, Keith Carielli & his wife Michelle, Christina Curran, and Ryan Curran & his wife Britney; and seven great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3rd at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4th at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, NY.
