Louise M. Keyser, 67, a longtime resident of Middletown, New York, and most recently of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at her home on July 13, 2026.
Born in New York City on July 5, 1959, Louise was the cherished daughter of the late John and Vera (Spina) Cavalluzzi.
Louise's life was defined by her boundless love, quiet strength, and unwavering devotion to her family. She found her greatest purpose and happiness in caring for those she loved. A devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt "Weezie", and friend, she had a remarkable gift for making others feel safe, supported, and deeply loved. Her kindness, warmth, and selflessness touched everyone fortunate enough to know her, and the love she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of her family forever.
Louise was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Frank J. Keyser, who passed away on January 11, 2026. Together, they built a life centered on their family and shared many happy years together. Louise deeply valued the life they shared and the family they raised together.
Her greatest pride and joy was her son, Austin Keyser. She treasured every moment spent with him and welcomed his wife, Alexa, into the family. Watching their lives together brought Louise immense happiness and comfort.
She is lovingly survived by her son, Austin Keyser, and his wife, Alexa; her siblings, Mary Ann Barker and her late husband, Scott; Jane Muller and her husband, George; John Cavalluzzi and his wife, Kate and Jennifer Tranchina and her husband, Tony. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.
Louise also found great comfort in her faithful golden retriever, Gracie, whose companionship brought her peace and unconditional love, especially during the difficult months following Frank's passing.
A woman of deep faith, Louise's relationship with God was the foundation of her life. Her faith gave her strength, guided her through life's joys and hardships, and brought her peace.
Though her family is heartbroken by her loss, they find comfort in knowing Louise is reunited with the love of her life and now rests in the loving presence of the Lord. She will be profoundly missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of those whose lives she touched.
Calling hours will be held at the Millspaugh Funeral Home, 22 Bank Street, Walden on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 3-7pm. The funeral service will be on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at the funeral home at 10am. Interment will take place at St. Joseph's Cemetery in Middletown, New York.
