HOPEWELL JUNCTION- Louise M. Quinn, a Hopewell resident since 1996 and a former resident of Ridgewood and Glendale, Queens passed away at home on Friday, January 17th surrounded by her family. She was 93 years old. The daughter of the late George & Alice (Schaeffer) Kessler, Louise was born in Ridgewood, NY on December 10th, 1931. She was a bank teller at Hamburg Savings bank in Queens. She would go on to meet her husband working there as they were both bank tellers. Louise loved to decorate her house for every season. Every room in the house had to be decorated for that matter. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and watching her shows on TV. On November 22, 1958, she married the love of her life, Stephen Quinn at St. Brigid's Church in Brooklyn, NY. Aside from her husband, Louise is survived by her Patricia Quinn; her grandchildren Ashley & Justin; her great grandchildren Nova & Soul; her daughter-in-law Heather; her sister-in-law Mildred; her niece and nephew Debra & John. She was predeceased by her son Kevin Quinn on September 13th, 2022. She is also predeceased by her two brothers Anthony & George and her nephew Michael. A special thank you to the team from Hudson Valley Hospice who cared for Louise for a little over a year. We are forever grateful! A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 am Wednesday, January 22nd at St. Columba Church, 835 NY-82, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533. Interment will follow at St. Denis Cemetery, 604 Beekman Rd, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533.
