LAGRANGEVILLE – Lucille Brookhouse, 83, an area resident for 23 years and formerly of the Bronx, died on November 8, 2020 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in New York City on October 1, 1937, she was the daughter of Peter and Frances Comparone. Lucille was a parishioner of St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, and a member of the Tri-town Senior Center.

On December 14, 1957 in Manhattan, Lucille married John Brookhouse who predeceased her on November 8, 2020. She was also predeceased by her daughter, Linda Ann Brookhouse; and her siblings, Peter Comparone, Frances Arce and Genevieve Mazzucca.

Lucille is survived by her children and their spouses, Janice and Jose Rodriguez, and John and Mayra Brookhouse; her grandchildren, Christopher, Alexandria, Alyssa, John IV, and Nicole Linda; her sister, Pasqualina Telesca; and her furry grandchildren, Cosmo, Dutchess, Coco, Freya and Bonnie.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday at 10am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville followed by entombment in Woodlawn Cemetery.
