LAGRANGEVILLE – Lyale Warren, a resident of Lagrangeville, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, September 10, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer. He was 77.
Born in Poughkeepsie, NY on July 17, 1941, he was the son of the late Howard and Marion (Doughty) Warren. On April 8, 1978, he married Sharon Cole. She survives at home.
Lyale was a graduate of Wappingers Central School. He worked as a Maintenance Technician for DuPont U.S.A. at the company's facilities in Poughkeepsie, NY and Danbury, CT, retiring in 2004. He also worked at Global Foundries. During that time, he helped his late father-in-law, Bud Cole at the farm.
In addition to his wife Sharon, Lyale is also survived by his son, Shawn Warren of Lagrangeville; his son Eric Warren (Jesica) of Erieville; his grandchildren, Paige and Cole; his brother, Richard Warren (Karen) of East Fishkill; his brother, Leslie (Libby) of Naples, FL; his sister, Jean Schofield (Tim) of Berryville, VA; his sister, Evelyn Kalisty of Naples, FL; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his brother, William Warren.
Lyale enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. His most recent passion was spending time with his grandchildren, and showing their goats, that he liked to call his "Grand Goats" at the county and state fairs.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6-9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
