Lynn Capuano

Lynn Capuano, a longtime area resident, passed away peacefully on September 27, 2026, at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 78 years old.

Lynn was born on July 6, 1948 in Hartford, CT, the daughter of the late Francis and Grace (Roberts) Silver.

For 55 wonderful years, Lynn shared a beautiful and loving marriage with her husband, Bruce Capuano. Together, they built a life filled with love, family, countless memories and unwavering devotion to one another. Their marriage was a true partnership, and Lynn cherished the life they created together. Bruce was not only her husband, but her best friend and lifelong companion.

Lynn worked as an Accountant for Dick Campbell Accounting in Hartford, CT. She was also deeply committed to helping others and spent many years volunteering at the Fishkill Food Pantry, where she gave generously of her time and compassion.

Above all, Lynn treasured being a Mom and devoted herself to caring for her family. She found great joy in the simple things in life, especially spending time with those she loved. Lynn enjoyed reading and traveling throughout the country, making memories along the way with her family.

In addition to her loving husband, Bruce, Lynn is survived by her two sons, Christopher Capuano and Justin Capuano; her two grandchildren, Samuel Singband and Jonah Capuano; her brother, Robert Silver and his wife Sandy; her sister in laws, Marlane Dechene and Marcia Capuano and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Lynn was predeceased by her brother, Kenny Silver.
