Madeline Antoinette Oreste, 83, a resident of the Town of East Fishkill since 1972 and formerly of the Bronx, died on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the Wingate at Dutchess.

Born in the Bronx on December 20, 1925, she was the daughter of Michael and Palma Grisolia Oreste.  She was employed as the Actuary Team Head for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Manhattan for 44 years.  Madeline was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction and was a member of the St. Denis – St. Columba – Blessed Kateri Altar Rosary Society.

Madeline is survived by her nieces and nephews, Mary Ann and Anthony Carulli of Fernandina Beach, FL, Jack and Cindy Lorusso of Kennesaw, GA, Frances and Phil Pollack of Westport, CT, Palma and Bruno Manes of Oxford, CT, Albina and Joseph Bottino of Holland, PA and Palma Cicalo of Irvington, NY.

There are no calling hours.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by entombment in Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
