PLEASANT VALLEY - Manuel C. Gonzalez-Rios, 66, passed away at his home on August 29, 2025.

Born on October 4, 1958 in San Juan Juan, Puerto Rico, Manuel was the son of the late Casimiro Gonzalez Correa and Maria Rios Ramos. Manuel graduated Curtis High School in Staten Island in 1976.

He attended Wagner College in Staten Island. He proudly served in the US Marines. Manny was employed as a Security Enforcement Officer for Paragon Systems in Herndon. He also worked for Irving Trust Company and Bank of New York. Manny previously also owned a bar/restaurant.

Manny was a Master of Martial Arts, with 5 different Black Belt disciplines.

Manny is survived by his sister, Maria Gonzalez of Queens, NY; his brother, Ralph Gonzalez of Wilmington, DE; his brother, Juan Antonio "Tony" Gonzalez-Rios of Newport News, VA; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Manny was also predeceased by his brother, Richard "Ricky" Gonzalez.
