Margaret W. Briggs, 88, of Armonk, died on Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the Wingate at Dutchess.
Born in Scotland on August 28, 1922, she was the daughter of Alexander and Elizabeth Maxwell. She worked for many years for the Byram Hills High School.
She is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Morris and her husband Robert of Hopewell Junction and Georgeanne Small of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, Travis and Heather Small, Jason, Ryan and Chelsea Morris; her great-grandchildren, Matthew and Meaghan; and her sisters, Janet "Netta" Campbell of Mount Kisco, Nancy Williams of Scotland and Ina Williams of Scotland. She was predeceased by her husband, George; her son, Angus Maxwell Craig; her son-in-law, Gary Small; her brothers, Angus and Willie Maxwell; and her sisters, Betty McArthur, Sadie Wood and Isa Finlay.
