Margaret J. Giannantonio, 91, an area resident for 22 years and formerly of Yonkers, died on Monday, November 23, 2009 at the Wingate at Dutchess.

Born in West Hazelton, PA on December 15, 1917, she was the daughter of Andrew and Anna Yurista.  She was employed as an Aide for the Wappingers Central School District at Brinckerhoff Elementary School until her retirement.

On February 6, 1946 in Yonkers, Margaret married Rocco J. Giannantonio who predeceased her on June 21, 1999.  She was also predeceased by her daughter, Donna M. Kirkpatrick, in 2007.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
