Margaret Mary Hayes, 50, a resident of Fishkill and previously of Newburgh, died on Sunday, September 23, 2018 in Newburgh.
Born on May 4, 1968 in Newburgh, Margaret was the daughter of David and Victoria (Croci) Sager.
On December 15, 2016 in Highland, Margaret married Bernard Hayes who survives at home.
Margaret was a cosmetologist at Fantastic Cuts in Newburgh and loved her family. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, niece, aunt, great aunt, sister and a daughter.
In addition to her husband and father, Margaret is also survived by her sons, Michael Arrotta of Newburgh and Jonathan Fontanes of Atlanta, GA; her stepson, Marcus Hayes of Fishkill; her grandchildren, Nevaeh Fontanes, Ariyanna and Markez Hayes; her siblings, David Sager (Jennifer), Dawn Sager (Polly), Joan Sager Breitenbach (Cliff), Laura Rotundo (Carmine), and Mark Sager; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her mother, her son, George Arrotta, and brother, Robert "Buddy " Sager.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2-5pm at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main St., Fishkill. A funeral service will be held at 5pm at the funeral home.
