Margaret Mary "Peggy" Maloney, a Fishkill resident since 1998, formerly of East Rockaway, NY and the Bronx, passed away in Cape Coral, FL on Thursday, April 6, 2023. She was 86.
Daughter of the late Simon "Tim" and Nora (Moran) Maloney, she was born in the Bronx on January 13, 1937. Peggy retired as a Supervisor for Avis Car Rental, where she worked for more than 17 years. She truly loved spending time with her pet dogs.
Survivors include her brother, Martin Maloney and his wife Viera of Cape Coral, FL; her sister-in-law, Janet Maloney of Wappingers Falls; her nephews, Martin Maloney and Ryan Maloney; her niece, Darcy Morgan; and many other relatives & friends.
In addition to her parents, Peggy was also predeceased by her brother, John Maloney.
Calling hours will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 14 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. Following the visitation, a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY. Interment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
