Margaret Louise Manna, a Fishkill resident since 2008 and formerly of Irvington NY, died at the Wingate at Fishkill on Friday, August 10, 2012. She was 87.

Born in the Bronx on December 10, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Frank Andrew and Julia Bagyula Stagl. For 20 years, Margaret owned and operated Irvington Jewelry in Irvington, NY. She later became a professional graphoanalyst, an award-winning water color painter, and Middle Eastern dancer.

She was predeceased in death by her husband, Edward Manna on December 12, 1970 and daughter Veda on July 10, 1987.

Margaret is survived by her son, Mark Manna & his wife Zsuzsanna of Lagrangeville; her grandson, Eric Manna of Poughkeepsie; her granddaughter, Jessica Manna of North Adams, MA; her sister, Anna Katz of Beacon; her nephews, George Stagl & his wife Heidi of Beacon, Philip & Richard Gnatowski of Massachusetts, and Fr. Louis Manna of Scottsburg, Indiana.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A Funeral Liturgy will be offered at 7p.m. immediately following calling hours at the funeral home. Interment will take place at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 16 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 10 West Stevens Avenue, Valhalla. A procession will leave from the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.
