Margaret M. Ragusa, 81, a resident of Wappingers Falls since 1990 and formerly of Mount Vernon, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at St. Francis Hospital.

Born in the Bronx on November 27, 1930, she was the daughter of Peter and Agnes Conway Burke. Margaret retired as a telephone operator for New York Telephone Company in New Rochelle and was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction.

Margaret is survived by her sons and their wives, Michael and Linda Ragusa of Hopewell Junction and Stephen and Anna Ragusa of Mount Vernon; her grandchildren, Michael, Leah, Kristyn, Joseph, Christopher and Domenick; and her great-grandchildren, Fallon and Tyler. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph A. Ragusa, in 1999 and her son, Richard Ragusa, in 2008.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
