Margaret T. Verite, 93, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 1985 and formerly of Yonkers, died on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in New York City on August 8, 1917, she was the daughter of John and Annie Keenan Barnable. On September 28, 1940 in New York City, Margaret married Paul Verite who predeceased her on November 26, 1996.
Margaret is survived by her children, Robert Verite and his wife Marylou of Hazlet, NJ, Thomas Verite of Manhattan and Patricia Donohue of Hopewell Junction; her grandchildren, Paul, Jeanette, Denise, William and Michelle; and her great-grandchildren, Brianna, Deanna, Danielle, Robyn, Lexi, Taylor, Olivia, Emily and Billy. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her son-in-law, William Donohue.
Calling hours will be held on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by interment in Rose Hill Memorial Park.
